This book made me laugh and was enjoyable to read. It reminds me of my own kids and grandkids.
I loved this book! My is 30 years old but he would have enjoyed reading it when he was younger. It was a very easy read and I’ve been sharing it with my friends who are Grandmas! I love the direction and guidance from Tuxedo Man’s mom! She sounds amazing and very inspirational! This book also shares courage and positive ways to turn not so pleasant situations around. Kudos to the author for writing this book to the level of the younger generation!

The Not-So-Exciting Adventures of Tuxedo Man is a great read for kids and adults! As a retired 4th- and 5th-grade teacher, I would have loved to share this book with my students.
I enjoyed this engaging story, told by its main character, CJ, a boy who details his real-life experiences and how he uses his “superpowers” to help him problem-solve situations that kids can relate to.
The message is clear and shows kids that when they go through difficult things, they can find a way to solve them.
The reflection questions at the end of each chapter give kids the chance to process how they feel about what happens in the story.
The reflection questions also open up opportunities for conversations between parents and kids about how they might choose to handle situations they experience. Tuxedo Man really does have SUPERPOWERS!
This book is great for kids to build courage through challenging situations. It’s a great book for all kids and I love that it helps keep communication open with kids. ❤️
